The Oakland Raiders On The Move
The Oakland Raiders is one of the teams I the NFL that people loves to watch.Raiders tickets sell like pancakes because football fans and enthusiasts enjoy the exciting game the team show Another reason why there is a growing number of Raiders ticket holders is that the Raiders has one of the best records in the NFL. They won three times in the Super Bowl, four Conference title wins and 15 Division title wins.
The Raiders had a shaky start when they started in t1960. Despite not having the facilities, people still supported the team. The situation changed when the team was handled by Al Davis in 1963. Within about twenty years since they started, the team have won three Super Bowls, and a number of Conference and Division title wins. Raiders tickets became a commodity with more people wanting to catch the Raiders in action.
In 1966, the Oakland Raiders played in the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders tickets were difficult to come by for almost everyone wants to watch the game. The Raiders tickets became even scarcer in October of 1970 when the Raiders played their ever first Monday Night Football game in ABC against the Washington Redskins. The lucky Raiders ticket holders watched as the Raiders crushed the other team with a 34-20 win. For the Raiders it was only their introduction to great games. Since then, the Raiders tickets for Monday games were flying out of ticket booths.
The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum underwent a massive $120 million worth of renovations. They added over 20,000 seats to the coliseum, 90 luxury suites and two private clubs and two of the massive scoreboards. These were done to provide for the creasing number of Raiders ticket holders. Now the Raiders are playing in the McAfee Coliseum.
The Raiders experienced a few bumpy seasons, being 2004 the worst. In 2001, they were involved in a controversy called the Tuck when they played against the New England Patriots. The Raiders are now improving their offensive to provide the fans a more interesting game. Their offense has been their weak link. If the Raiders manage to perfect their offensive, they would be more difficult to defeat.
